James Butler Bonham Elementary School (Grades PK-5)

SCA Associate Member

Bonham Elementary is a Great Place to Learn.  Our students, teachers, administrators and staff enter the doors each day ready to learn.  We believe that all members in our school community are learners and thus it is our mission to create a professional learning community.

We educate students in a positive, inspiring manner, building self-esteem in conjunction with academic excellence.  Focusing on self-discipline, parental involvement, and communications, we strive to empower students to become self-directed learners.

Bonham has a strong core curriculum with an emphasis on reading, science, and math.  Our strong academic program is supported by two state-of-the-art computer labs, two math labs and two new science labs.  Our students will create and maintain several habitat projects around the campus. This project is called the Bonham Bobcat Gardens.

We are anchored in success as evidenced by our strong academic rating and our aspiration to become an exemplary school.  Bonham Elementary - A Great Place to Learn, Work, and Volunteer.
