NO PARKING ON THE GRASS IN SHARPSTOWN
In 2009, the City of Houston established a "No Parking on the Grass" Ordinace through a neighborhood opt-in program. For the past several months, Sharpstown has been working on applications to make this ordinance active in Sharpstown. Due to the size of Sharpstown and the numerous and onerous hurdles the City has laid out for neighborhoods, we are working on this process in phases. Last year, the application for Sections1, 1A and 2 was submitted and and it was approved by City Council. The application for Section 3 is nearly ready for submission.
