Welcome to Sharpstownscan.com!

When this site got started, I knew that it would be allow SCA to "reach out," but I had no idea just how far that might be:  recently, I received an email from someone in Florida who used to live in Sharpstown and had a question.   Others have emailed us with deed restriction complaints, questions and other issues -- and I respond to each and every one.

Recently, I've added new information including SCA forms and information about ACC and Deed Restrictions.  The 2008 Membership form is also available - and we welcome all dues payments.  Remember that COPS dues are separate from SCA Membership dues, and both are important to Sharpstown.

We get many requests for copies of our deed restrictions.   The SCA does not provide copies, but copies are available from your title company and should be provided at closing, or from Harris County Clerk's office (for a fee).  We intend to upload these to this site at some point in the future; however, this will be a long process.  Because each section of Sharpstown was restricted at the time of its development, there are 26 different sets of deed restrictions, and we have them only on paper (copied from very old microfilm).  Some copies are legible, but others are not.  This is a big project and will take time to get up and running.

Our Annual Meeting (Election & Dinner) are coming up, and we're looking forward to ending another great year in Sharpstown.  I've lived here for more than 30 years and have seen a lot of changes.  I'm most excited about the changes in our schools and encourage each of you to check them out (we have info on this site and links to our schools) and the plans of the Sharpstown Management District.
